With just 24 hours to go before the public reunion of Pink Floyd and Roger Waters at the London Live 8 concert, some final bits of information and, incredibly, a few more international TV broadcast details, which can be seen on our dedicated Live 8 broadcast page.

We've been told that the band have spent a lot of their own money to provide fireworks during their section of the show, which should make their segment even more memorable! We hear that rehearsals this week in North London have gone extremely well, and the set list now seems to be finally sorted. However, we know many of you don't want to hear what they are playing beforehand, so our lips are sealed!

In terms of timings, and artist order, we've seen nothing official yet, but it seems that the Floyd are now due to hit the stage at 8:56pm BST (GMT+1hr). We've heard this information from NBC in America, so don't blame us if this time is wrong. However, it seems to fit in with the band's position near the end of the show, and it should be starting to get nice and dark then too.

Our update yesterday had a lot of practical info for those attending the show. We've had some additional bits of useful information, that attendees need to know before setting out.

Firstly, the Royal Parks, of which Hyde Park is one, have a good section on the concert on their website. Included on it, is a good, clear map of the venue, with entrances shown. The approximately 2MB download is there in Adobe PDF format.

There are also some instructions on the site as to what you can, and cannot, take to the show. Firstly, you are not allowed to take "chairs/tables/gazebos/barbeques" (!) to the show. You may bring food and drink for your own consumption but there will also be food and drink on sale at both the concert and the screens. You cannot bring containers in excess of 18 inches x 18inches x 12inches into either site, e.g large rucksacks, large picnic hampers etc. Drinks in glass, or cans, or over 500ml in size are also not permitted. There will be no alcohol on sale and you are not allowed to bring it into either the concert or screen sites.

Weather forecasts currently suggest the day will begin with very light showers (less than 1mm of rain) in the early hours. The day should feature intermittent sunshine, but on the whole, there will be cloud cover throughout the afternoon. A high temperature of 21°C is expected. If you are going, whatever the weather have a fantastic time, and we'll see you there!
