We've been contacted with the news that Roland's Petit's "Pink Floyd Ballet", performed by the Asami Maki Ballet company of Tokyo, is travelling to Paris, France, for a couple of performances.

Appearing at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées as part of their new season, the show (a new production based on the foundation of the existing show) features Lucia Lacarra and Cyril Pierre taking the principal roles in this contemporary ballet based on the songs of Pink Floyd.

It is being held on September 9th and 10th 2005, at 8pm. Tickets are now available from the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, and other normal ticket outlets.

The Asami Maki Ballet are reputed to be one of the top companies in the world, and their shows are always well-attended. Tickets tend to sell quickly, especially for the Pink Floyd performances. Original performances of Petit's choreographed show featured Pink Floyd playing the music live. A video of Petit's show was also shown during the opening weekend of the Interstellar exhibition in October 2003.

Our thanks to those who have also written with this news.
