Tickets for the forthcoming performance of Roger Waters newly-released opera "Ca Ira", in Italy, have been selling extremely well. So much so, that an additional date has been announced due to the demand.

The Auditorium Parco della Musica in the city will be now be staging the performance on 17th AND 18th November. It will be performed by 100 members of the Rome Symphony Orchestra, along with an 80-strong choir, some of which will be children (who feature in the piece). Roger himself will conduct the overture, and the key vocalists will be announced shortly.

In recent interviews, Roger has confirmed that there will be film and projections used, to help explain the story to the 2000-strong audience. It promises to be a memorable event. There are plans to perform another six shows, in North America, next spring.

Tickets for the additional show on the 18th, go on sale directly from the venue today. All other normal outlets will start selling their tickets from tomorrow morning. Prices range from €40 to €120, plus applicable booking fees.
