This month saw the US release of the long-awaited DVD of "Pink Floyd - London 1966-67", the UK/European edition having been released in September, and a review of this can be found here on this site.

It definitely is a "must have", and thanks to the generosity of those nice people at Snapper Music, we had a great competition for you. The first picked name, below, has won a signed, framed print, DVD (with CD), and t-shirt. The four runners up will get a t-shirt and DVD/CD set. The large-format, signed print is one of only 20 that have been created of the cover art, and the one we are giving away has been professionally framed, and signed by director Peter Whitehead! A very nice prize indeed...

"Pink Floyd - London 1966-67" is a fascinating look at the early days of the band, featuring the classic line-up of Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters and Rick Wright, shown in action in the studio and live in concert, at the UFO club, performing Interstellar Overdrive and Nick's Boogie.

Additional footage captures "swinging sixties" London and interviews with Mick Jagger, Michael Caine, David Hockney and Julie Christie.

Without further delay, here's who will be receiving the goodies shortly:

Top prize (print, DVD, t-shirt):
Julie Pollard, Burgess Hill, UK

Runner's up prizes (DVD, t-shirt):
Willy Willemse, Breda, The Netherlands
Herve Denoyelle, Laventie, France
Kevin De Ornellas, Belfast, Northern Ireland
Deborah Gilmore, Hixson, TN, USA
Congratulations to the winners, and commiserations to those who weren't lucky this time.

Our thanks to Snapper Music for their help, and their generosity with the prizes in this competition. The DVD was released on September 12th in the UK and Europe, and October 4th in the US. The special US edition also includes a bonus audio CD featuring Nick’s Boogie (11:50) and Interstellar Overdrive (16:46), as heard on the recent Pucka Music release. Orders are being taken through our special Amazon links.
