Pink Floyd London 1966-1967Our competition to win one of the new, limited edition vinyl/CD packages of the much-loved "Pink Floyd London 1966/1967" recordings, or one of the DVDs of the sessions, is now closed. We've spent a busy while today going through the mass of entries to draw the winners, and can now break the good news for six of you...

The packages feature a pair of early studio recordings by the band, headed at that time by Syd Barrett. Recorded (and caught on film - see details of the DVD here) by Peter Whitehead for his "Tonite Let's All Make Love In London", the tracks are a 17 minute Interstellar Overdrive, and the nearly 12 minute Nick's Boogie.

This new edition consists a heavyweight vinyl and CD set, packaged in a special gatefold sleeve, and is available exclusively from Snapper's website. But, we hear you ask, who was picked out from all the correct entries received? Read on to find out!

Those who will be sent out their prizes shortly (just as soon as they arrive here at the Brain Damage HQ from those nice people at Snapper), will be the following:

Pink Floyd London 1966/67 limited vinyl/CD sets:

  • Rodney Oakmeadow, Western Australia
  • Jeromy Timmer, Michigan, USA
  • Roy Grace, UK

Pink Floyd London 1966/67 DVDs:

  • Izabela Banasiak, Poland
  • Jeroen Geerts, The Netherlands
  • Mark Jardine, UK

Congratulations to all six, and better luck next time to all those who were unsuccessful with this competition.
