The show concluding the European leg of Roger's 2007 tour finished things on a definite high. With the band playing so well, a tight, well-practiced unit, and the visual side of things just as "in tune", the Irish crowd were destined for a treat!
As the reports below reveal, Roger and co. seemed to get just as much from the show as the audience, which was small (due to the size of the venue) but loud in their thanks and respect for the band.
The show now travels over the water to start the final leg of the 2007 tour, in North America. For all those who have tickets for the final 26 full concerts (plus, of course, the Live Earth show), have a great time!

Dublin last night - an amazing night of music, passion and nostalgia and thank God no Bono to ruin the show, as he has done with many great artists, this was real rock and roll.
Roger seemed genuinely moved by the unbelievable response he received to each and every song. In his own words: “what a way and a place to end the European tour” - as only the Irish can do, with passion and raised glasses!

Was at the show in the Point last night, and I'm still buzzing...
It was fantastic. I was lucky enough to catch him at the Wall in 1990 and he dosen't look a day older, still gives a 100% and still a musical feast. Fantastic night, hope I'm lucky enough to see him again sometime.

I was at the concert in The Point on Monday and I hae to agree with the previous two reviews. What a night. I saw him at The Marquee in Cork last June and really didn't think that concert could be surpassed, but boy, did he deliver.
Everything was perfect, the visuals, the pyrotechnics which we didn't have in Cork, but most of all The Music. For once the sound in The Point was perfect.
This was a truly memorable night. My 20 year old nephew attended with the rest of us 40+'s and was completely blown away. To quote him 'You think you've been at great concerts until you come to something like this'.

Echo Steve's sentiment above...still buzzing after another excellent show last night.
Differences between this year's show and last year in Cork was the ongoing picture backdrop story, bubbles, that old inflatable pink pig, a spaceman, pyrotechnics galore and an amazing overhead lazer construction of a 3-D prism firing the spectrum into everyones faces.
Same set as last year,a really nice choice of Rogers songs for Floyd and again Leaving Beiruit delivered with such feeling.
Thankfully the torpedoes hitting their target in Perfect Sense did not affect the sound system this time, and Graham Broad's drumming on Time's intro really is something to behold.
Anyone reading here from the States, you sure have a treat in store...enjoy!

Went to Waters at the Point, Dublin 14th May and was blown away. For me this was the concert experience of a lifetime and I'm a 42 year old fan of diverse music. Waters gave 100% and the audience gave it back. I thought the sound was perfect, the effects very good, the material and its delivery were simply jaw droppingly powerful. I thought myself too cynical to shed a tear in a concert but at more moments than I care to admit I found the hair go up on the back of my neck and my eyes brim. Roger Waters - amazing, thank you sir and please come back. The States are in for a shock!!
