Many of you will be aware that we recently brought you the news of the new Roger Waters single and promo video, which is taken from the forthcoming movie The Last Mimzy. Whilst the song, "Hello (I Love You)", appears on the soundtrack album, there is also a CD single being released with two versions of the track, and we have details of how you can order the physical CD or the download version of these. The song is the theme music to the movie (hitting US screens on March 23rd, and other countries from April onwards), and Roger said: "I think together we've come up with a song that captures the themes of the movie - the clash between humanity's best and worst instincts, and how a child's innocence can winthe day." With production by long-time Pink Floyd producer James Guthrie, there are many references to Roger's past work. The promo video, which has just been aired on VH1 in the US, can be seen over at www.lastmimzymusic.com, where there are audio clips from the soundtrack album, too. The CD single, consisting of a 4'30" radio edit and the full 6'12" album version, will NOT be available in any shops, and can ONLY be ordered directly from www.silvascreen.co.uk. It is priced at £4.99 inclusive of postage within the E.U. For the rest of the world, you will need to add £1.00 postage. Order now, ready for the release date of Monday, March 26th.
For those who prefer music downloads, you can pre-order the digital single from 7Digital now. It will also be available to buy from iTunes. There are also some US retailers that are already selling this download including www.buy.com.
