Roundhouse - Pink Floyd 1966 concert poster Roundhouse - Pink Floyd 1966 concert poster

In the early days of Pink Floyd, the Roundhouse in London was a regular venue for the band. Some of the performances were quite notable, with one show in particular including their van being driven (accidentally) backwards into a huge pile of jelly (moulded in a bath tub) in the middle of the venue, when they arrived to drop off their equipment.

Early Pink Floyd concert posters hold a special place in the hearts of many fans, but originals are extremely hard to track down - and are eye-wateringly expensive. However, tapping in to this market the Roundhouse have put on sale reproductions of some of their classic posters, including two different Pink Floyd examples.

Both posters are for the same show, the Roundhouse's first gig, the 1966 All Night Rave on October 15th, 1966. The show was a lavish event to launch the International Times newspaper. The first of the prints on offer is the hand written concert bill for the show, and the second is the far more professional looking, more traditional poster which urged attendees to "Bring your own poison"!

The posters are available in a range of sizes, and also as canvasses, mini prints, and acrylic prisms.

You can place your orders now through prints.roundhouse.org.uk, who ship to a wide variety of countries worldwide.
