Joe Boyd discusses his life and career - upcoming talk Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Monday, 16 March 2009

Joe BoydOn Sunday, May 17th, legendary producer Joe Boyd discusses and reads from White Bicycles, his funny and fascinating memoir of the legendary musicians he launched, managed or supported including Nick Drake, Muddy Waters, Fleetwood Mac, the Incredible String Band and Pink Floyd.

The event, part of the English Originals Folk Festival 2009, is being held at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, at 4:30pm that day, and tantalisingly is billed as "Joe Boyd and guests in conversation". Some of you will recall he did a similar talk in May 2006 as part of the Brighton Festival, and he had Robert Wyatt on stage with him.

This new talk promises to be equally as fascinating, whoever is guesting, and tickets, priced at £3.50, are on sale now here, or phone 0121-780-3333.
