WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD! Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played! The second of three nights in Germany, and another good show based on the comments we've had. The band are said to be performing better than ever, gelling together perfectly! No changes to the set or the effects have been reported so far. The band are off to Hamburg tomorrow, concluding their German excusion. If you are going, tell us all about it! CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributer, Simon Wimpenny Great show last night, not as good as Zurich and Cologne but great performance. Snowy had a few problems with his peddle board during STC, the performance was great but I just got the impression the band werent "gelling" like they had on the previous couple of shows. Great crowd though, it makes soooooo much difference when its all standing on the floor and no seats, just seams to be a lot more of an atmosphere. Pig, Spaceman, Laser during ACYL all what are now again becoming the norm for each show made their appearance.
Beautiful day here, train from Leipzig to Hamburg today, steady 3 hour ride, show tonight in Hamburg in what i believe to be a HUGE venue. Home home again for Saturday. CONCERT PICTURES - courtesy of BD contributer, Thomas Noack CONCERT REVIEW - by BD contributer, Reiner Schunke It was fantastic having him in my hometown - just one of altogether three concerts in Germany. I was lucky to see him in Berlin 1990. The band itself I have seen 1994 in Berlin and Prague. It was a wonderful night with three hours of magnificent music and effects. There was an astronaut floating over the crowd at "Perfect sence" and the floating pig came at "Sheep". Roger had a few new screen movies, even on "Dark Side...". And the usual fireworks, explosions and so on. For me it was very nice to listen some songs that have not being played by Pink Floyd on the "Division Bell" Tour, especially songs from "Final Cut" and "A Saucerful..." and as well "Wish you were here". |
