Just announced, via the Floyd's official Facebook page: on October 21st, at 9pm UK, a new, hour-long Floyd compilation airs on BBC Four TV. 'Pink Floyd Beginnings 1967-1972' brings together a selection of the band's early, historic TV appearances, and is a taster for what the Pink Floyd: The Early Years 1965-1972 box set will include.

This almost sounds like a sequel to the BBC Four programme, Pink Floyd: A Miscellany, originally aired in 2011, albeit this show is focused on the first part of their professional career, whereas Miscellany took a broader look at their history.

BBC Four is available in the UK via Freeview, digital cable and satellite, and many parts of Europe can also receive the channel via satellite and other means. Alternatively, most of the BBC's programming can also be enjoyed online at BBC.co.uk, live and on demand through the BBC's iPlayer facility.
