COMMENTS
Due to the incredibly fast sale of tickets for the first night, this second show at the Telenor Arena was added immediately - and tickets sold out instantly for this too! A couple of days rest before the production heads for Stockholm, Sweden.
General sale tickets are now on sale, but sold at the same incredible speed as the first show, and it is understood that none are left on sale. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Our thanks to Kristian for sending in the ticket scan shown to the right.

Do not read on if you don't want surprises to be spoilt, regarding what the band played, and what happened as the night unfolded!
Night twenty-four of the tour, and the concluding night in Oslo. As you'll see from the review below, and the following video footage, there was a problem - for the first time - with the hotel room set, which refused to fold out resulting in Roger making some jokes about it, and having to suspend the concert while the issue was fixed! If you went to this show, please let us know what you thought of the event, and if anything else interesting or different happened if you've been to previous shows and can compare.

I attended the show in Oslo where the hotel room failed to open, and will be happy to share what happened.
The first songs after the break had been played behind the complete wall, and before Nobody Home we could suddenly hear Roger shout "Abort, abort everything! Let's figure this out...". I first thought it was a part of the plan, as a kind of joke, but realized soon that it wasn't.
It took a minute before he came to the front of the stage and asked for some light. The first light he got was actually the flash light from someone's cellphone. After he had explained the problem, he went back "for a cup of tea". After a few more minutes he returned and told his story about Gorbachev. Then it took yet another few minutes before he finally had realized that the wall wouldn't open, brought a chair and sang Nobody Home like in a kind of intimate concert.
So what do I think of it? Well, unlike the In The Flesh tour in 2002, where I felt he had switched on an autopilot, I this time really felt I was watching something unique. Roger handled the situation very professionally, and we saw him improvise as a stand-up comedian. I wouldn't miss this for a show where everything went smoothly. The only thing that could have been handled better was that they could have switched to plan B sooner. There were a lot of breaks where nothing happened.
After the show he promised to come back and show us the hotel room. I would love to see him back, but not because of the hotel room. It takes more to ruin a show like this.
One more fun fact about the problems at the show in Oslo: A similar thing happened to U2 in Oslo in 1997, where the band was supposed to walk out of a giant lemon - which didn't open. Wander if it means bad luck to play giant shows like this in Oslo :-).
