As Roger's 2010 tour of The Wall enters its final handful of shows, the production arrives in San Jose. It's the first of two nights at this Californian venue, as due to demand a second night has been added. The concert advert to the right (click thumbnail) comes courtesy of BD's own Elliot Tayman, and the ticket scan thanks to Bob Gilbert.
The concert moved from December 6th to December 7th, at the start of October. This was to accommodate the transfer and setup of the massive show production. If you are unable to attend the new date, full refunds are available.
The RogerWaters.com presales began starting Wednesday, May 5th. Starting May 3rd, American Express Cardmembers could get advance tickets, with seating available to Gold Card, Platinum Card and Centurion members. US fans could also get early access to tickets via iTunes beginning Thursday, May 6th, by purchasing the 1982 film The Wall from iTunes by April 26th. For both the American Express and iTunes presales, please note that the presale offers were available in select markets and ticket quantities were limited.
General sale tickets went on sale on Monday, May 10, via Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. The public sale also saw a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour. Use of our links to Ticketmaster gives much needed assistance with site hosting costs without any additional cost to yourself - and we appreciate it!

Night forty-eight of the tour, and the first of two nights in San Jose. Our thanks to Bill Buckley for the incredibly quick review of the show below, which we received not long after the event concluded! Tonight, the San Francisco Bay Area was treated to an incredible showing by Roger Waters and his talented band. From the moment the lights dropped the crowd was bombarded by crystalline audio, stunning visuals, and a very poignant message. Roger seemed to be having fun and was very vocal with the crowd, even going so far as to tease some of the audience.
I was turned on to the Floyd in 1985 during a very painful period in my life. I was only aged 12 at the time, but the music and message really moved me, and I have been obsessed with "The Wall" since then. I had no idea just how powerful it is to see this piece performed live. "In the Flesh?" starts of with a bang and the rest of the concert does not relent, with each song reaching an even higher peak than the last. There are moments of incredible beauty, raw emotion, humour, and pain. The one thing that is constant though is the underlying humanity. Throughout the many images that are gut wrenching you are left to wonder where the humanity has gone in these times.
Roger's production is very enjoyable throughout, but it really picks up intensity with "Another Brick Part 3." From that point forward the wall comes alive and all in the audience are floored. Many in my section were sitting with jaws ajar whilst taking in the spectacle before us.
The second act flies by far too quickly with each successive song touching your heart in different ways. It amazes me that this piece is still so very relevant in our day. In California today, the courts are hearing arguments regarding equal rights for all people regardless of belief and orientation. This evening Roger Waters put the mistreatment of our fellow man front and foremost to all in attendance. The visuals are the most powerful I have ever seen.
Roger and the band are as tight as can be imagined, and Dave's solos are incredible. I fell in love with his playing on the last tour, but he is now making the songs more his own to often stellar results.
I have been waiting for this concert for 25 years, and it was worth the wait.
