Pink Floyd London 1966-67 vinyl and CD setMany of you will be aware of the excellent "Pink Floyd London 1966/1967" DVD, directed by Peter Whitehead, which features rare full length performances from the band. Filmed as part of his legendary "Tonight Let's All Make Love In London" film, the band are captured recording two full-length tracks (Interstellar Overdrive, and Nick's Boogie) at the Sound Techniques studio in London, October 1966, and are fascinating documents of those very early days before the band went "professional" and signed with EMI.

Our friends at Snapper Music have put together a special CD and heavyweight vinyl set, beautifully packaged in a gatefold sleeve [click thumbnail, left], featuring the two tracks, and to celebrate its launch, have given us two copies of the set - along with the DVD of the performances - to give away to a couple of lucky Brain Damage visitors...

You can place your order for the vinyl and CD set direct from the Snapper store, where you can also pick up the DVD (our review here).

But, to win one of the sets along with the DVD, just answer the following question:

- When Pink Floyd recorded the tracks at Sound Techniques in 1966, was early member Bob Klose still a part of the band?

Send your answer to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to reach us by 11pm on Christmas Eve - December 24th. The very next day, we'll go through the correct entries to pick out two winners. Please include your full postal details should you be one of the lucky ones picked, and also, only one entry per household please.

Good luck to you all, and thanks to our friends at Snapper Music for the great prizes!
