A bit of advance notice for you: over the next two months, UK-based TV channel Sky Arts 1 are broadcasting a range of excellent Pink Floyd-related programmes, and for those who have Sky Arts 1 HD, these programmes will be mirrored on that channel, broadcast in high definition. Showing between August 11th, and October 1st, will be the absorbing documentary, A Technicolor Dream, David Gilmour's Remember That Night, and two distinctly different looks at Dark Side Of The Moon - the Classic Albums documentary, and the 1994 performance of the album from the PULSE release. Those things not shot in HD will be upscaled to 1080i so should look good if you can tune in to the high def version. Here's when to catch the various shows:
August 11th - 00:00-01:35 - A Technicolor Dream These are all airing on Sky Arts 1 AND Sky Arts 1 HD at the same times. Sky Arts 1 can be seen on Sky Digital satellite and Virgin Media digital cable services, and can be seen in many countries in northern Europe. Our thanks to Shaun Kiely for the info. |
