 Some advance notice for our US readers - our friend Jeff Touzeau (a writer, a producer and the owner of a New York studio) has written a cover story for EQ (a US audio magazine) on Pink Floyd's The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (December issue, on newsstands imminently).
It features an extensive, exclusive interview with Norman Smith (producer) on the topic (he doesn't talk about this subject much) as well as some very rare photographs of Syd during recording of Vegetable Man in De Lea Lane studios around October '67. It also features exclusive insight from both Joe Boyd and John Wood (producer/engineer respectively of Emily, Arnold, others...) on the Sound Techniques sessions.
