The latest issue of Rolling Stone includes their top 100 guitarists of all time. The list is also available on their website.
Whilst a reasonable argument can be made for Hendrix appearing as number 1, there are some very strange inclusions in the list, with David Gilmour appearing a lowly eighty-second. Lists such as this always encourage arguments and many good guitarists either get an appalling ranking, or are missing altogether. Ho hum.
