The US music TV channel VH1 have just broadcast their 50 Greatest Album Covers show. Full details are available at their site's page on the show.
Despite many classic covers, only one of Pink Floyd's albums appears in the list. Naturally, it is for Dark Side Of The Moon, and it is at the heady heights of number 4 in the list, beaten only by Nirvana's Nevermind, The Who's Who's Next, and at number 1, The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers.
During the Floyd segment of the show, the contributors, in particular Storm Thorgerson, talk about the inspiration for the cover.
