After our recent reports on Nick Mason's scuppered plans to continue his promotion of his wonderful book "Inside Out - A Personal History Of Pink Floyd" due to appendicitis, we're pleased to report all is back on track!

In his first public appearance since his operation, he travelled to Poland this week to appear in Warszawa (Warsaw) on the 25th, and Kraków on the 26th (yesterday). With a press conference in each city, followed by a book signing session in the large EMPiK stores in the cities, these were popular events with the locals.

With thanks to Jarek Król, we have a selection of his pictures of Nick in Kraków, taking part in the press conference there. The pink triangle seems curiously appropriate!

For other pictures of Nick in Poland, check out the Zdjecia on line press photo archives. They have a nice selection of 53 shots of Nick in Warsaw, 25th October. Unless you are a registered user, you can only see the relatively large thumbnails, though.

Now that doctor's orders have allowed Nick to return to work, plans for his visit to Germany and Bulgaria will no doubt be rescheduled. As and when we get the revised dates, we will let you know.
