New Gilmour song - limited free audio/video download Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Thursday, 22 December 2005

On the day that tickets for David Gilmour's third night at London's Royal Albert Hall went on sale, and promptly sold out within the hour, David has given his fans a nice Christmas present!

David has arranged for an exclusive video clip, taken from the "On An Island" album sessions, to be available for a limited period to his fans.

The track is called "Island Jam", and is a wonderful, laid back bluesy instrumental. It features David on guitar, with Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens on keyboards, Guy Pratt on bass, and Ged Lynch on drums. Along with the video, which can be seen in Windows Media and Real Media formats, you can also download the music alone in MP3 format (160kbps quality) or in AAC format.

But be warned - these will only be available until 11:59PM UK time on 27th December 2005.

David has provided these free, but asks that, during the season of overindulgence and extravagent present giving, that you spare a thought for the homeless, and make a donation to the charity Crisis.

The downloads, and the link to Crisis, can be found at www.DavidGilmour.com.
