New film gets "comfortably numb" |

The latest cinema release from Martin Scorcese is a thriller called
"The Departed", which features some real Hollywood heavyweights in the
excellent cast. Of interest to Floyd fans is a sequence in the movie
with Comfortably Numb - the version performed by Van Morrison at Roger
Waters 1990 Berlin concert. Reason for this version? Possibly due to
most of the characters being Irish American, and other Irish songs
feature in the soundtrack. And it IS a good track, as well!
