New edition Pink Floyd Encyclopedia - slight delay Print E-mail

Further to previous news stories, we now advise that the long awaited third edition of the Pink Floyd Encyclopedia has been delayed until the end of April/start of May (depending on the country of publication).

The book is the guide to pretty much anything you need to know about the band, and this latest edition has thousands of new additions, corrections and clarifications. Which means even if you have either of the previous editions, this should be an essential purchase for the reference section of your bookshelves.

The book looks at all aspects of the band's history - covering things such as all the people involved in their career, all the major releases, live appearances, film work, and much more. Not a book you can sit down and read from cover to cover, but one to dip into and great for answering many of those nagging questions that crop up from time to time.

The author, Vernon Fitch, has long been seen as one of the experts on the band's history, and has spent many years collecting Floyd items of all kinds, and this book has been a labour of love for him. We should be able to give a full review of the book for you all soon and will assess just how different it is from the second edition.

Orders for this book are now being taken by Amazon - UK/Elsewhere, US/International, Canada, Germany, or France.
