Major Roger Waters interview shortly Print E-mail
Written by Matt
Sunday, 21 August 2005

A periodical that our US friends should keep an eye out for is the September/October 2005 issue of Synthesis Magazine.

In the publication, which goes on sale 6th September, is a six-page Q&A article with Roger Waters, which covers a number of key topics.

Spencer Teilmann, the Editorial Director of Synthesis, told us that Roger was an excellent interviewee. Roger spoke about politics, the western vs. eastern conflict, his forthcoming opera Ca Ira (reviewed by us here), society, and a bit about the Live 8 reunion, some Pink Floyd history (including the whole Animals tour spitting incident), as well as a few other surprises.

They will be making several podcasts of the interview, as Roger spoke with them for quite a while. These will be available from their website - www.synthesismagazine.net and we've asked them to let us know when they are live on the site.

The magazine is distributed throughout the USA and Canada at Borders Books, Barnes & Nobel, Tower, FYE, Sam Goody, Strawberrys, Coconuts, major airports, etc. They are hoping to be available in the UK soon as well.

Our thanks to Spencer from Synthesis for his help!
