The video of "Portrait of an Artist, Volume 11: Rene Magritte" which features some incidental music by Roger Waters, discussed below, has also been released on DVD, in the US, with the title "Monsieur Rene Magritte". The film itself was made by Adrian Maben - the same chap behind the Live At Pompeii film and forthcoming DVD.
The DVD features no extra materials from the VHS Video, which is now available in the UK and Europe (through our Amazon.co.uk link) and in the US/Canada/other territories (from Amazon.com), apart from the improved picture and sound quality that DVD offers. It is a limited release, so all Waters fans - snap up your copy today, before they all go!
The documentary itself (from 1987) has received a number of plaudits for the excellent way it covers the life of the surrealist artist, Rene Magritte, footage of whom is included.
