Gilmour at Roundhouse - important update |

Late this afternoon, Brain Damage was contacted by the Roundhouse with the sad news that the May 2003 Festival, posted yesterday and set to feature David Gilmour - has been cancelled. The Festival was to be an eight day event, a fitting way to mark the closure of the old Roundhouse prior to building works starting on June 2nd.
The main reasons for the cancellation were given, including the following: "In the middle of the war it was felt that we could not go ahead with a major, potentially lavish fund-raising event at this time and a number of artists were concerned about being involved in a major festival, particularly those coming from abroad...". Our thanks to the Roundhouse for keeping us in the picture about this festival.
