 The Music Producers Guild (UK) today announced the short-list for its inaugural Awards ceremony, which takes place at London’s Cafe de Paris on February 12th 2009. The MPG Awards aim to recognise the enormous contribution recording professionals make to the success of the UK's music industry.
In the Best Live Album category, sponsored by Shure, David Gilmour's Live In Gdansk is short-listed alongside Tangled Up by Girls Aloud, and Live In London by Nephu Huzzband. Our congrats to David and Phil Manzanera, and to the album's engineers Andy Jackson, Damon Iddins and Devin Workman, for the nomination, and let's hope for success next month!
In the meantime, our Portuguese readers can see Live in Gdansk tomorrow night/early Saturday morning from 1:13am - 2:43am on RTP2 TV.
