A couple of Jools Holland "Later" TV show compilation DVDs are coming out next month.
The first, "Jools Holland's Hootenanny" (order now through amazon.co.uk to save on list price) includes BB King's performance of "Eyesight To The Blind" which had David Gilmour on guitar, and Sam Brown on backing vocals.
The other is "Later With Jools Holland - Giants" that includes Paul McCartney playing Brown Eyed Handsome Man, which, we think, includes Gilmour again. If you can confirm this (we're 98% certain) please let us know. This title can again be ordered through amazon.co.uk. Both titles include some great artists and performances - worthwhile for those, let alone David's appearances! Our thanks to Christoph Watz and Kees Nijpels for the head's up!
