David Gilmour - "Live in Gdansk" album cover revealed |

David Gilmour's official blog has this afternoon revealed the cover of his upcoming album, "Live in Gdańsk", which is a recording of his concert there in front of 100,000 or so fans on August 26th, 2006. The album itself is currently due for release in September this year, but an exact date has not yet been determined.
As you'll see by clicking the thumbnail to the left, the cover shows the band mid show. The stage featured six large screens so that the crowd could see each performer in action (a nice touch), with a nice red colour wash to add to the atmospheric picture. Red Sky At Night, anyone?
As we move closer to the release date, we will hopefully have full details of the album, of which the blog has previously revealed will include a documentary "in some shape or form"!
